​FOYA Uganda launched its first project in the central region of Uganda, in the capital city - Kampala, in 2009. After 5 years of work in the central region, we conducted a situational analysis in some of the most rural settings of Uganda. Our new partnerships in the West Nile region allowed us to expand our reach. With the expansion to new areas of Uganda came opportunities to increase our project impacts. In 2014, we started implementing sexual reproductive health and menstrual hygiene management projects.  Since then, we have worked in four other districts in West Nile. We also expanded our work to the Eastern region and, most recently, to the Western Region of Uganda.
