Travel to Uganda

This list has been compiled by travel advisory websites and past volunteer  and is based on personal experience. Use it as an informal guide in making your own list, bearing in mind that each experience is individual. While there is no perfect list, consider culturally appropriate options. And course, refer to some of our suggestions.

Visitors to Uganda must apply online and be issued a visa before leaving the United States.

The U.S. Department of State's STEP program notifies U.S. nationals in the event of a disaster, emergency or other crisis, and assists in coordinating any evacuation. We encourage all travelers to enroll.
