Growing culturally competent leaders
We are helping to grow a new generation of globally-minded leaders who understand the importance of respect, cultural competence, and working in partnership with those they serve. FOYA Uganda provides academic and professional learning opportunities at home and in Uganda across a wide range of fields, including public health, education, nursing, business, and communication.
Our interns are matched with appropriate projects based on their personal interests and skills. Placement opportunities include working with our domestic team in Ohio either remotely or in person, or traveling to Uganda. Some placements include a stipend to assist in covering the cost of travel to Uganda.
